Platonic only. Public places. Payments in-app.
Kompanio is not a dating app. No romance, no adult services and no negotiation or payment outside the app. Government ID and selfie verification are reviewed by the Kompanio team, and every booking is paid through Kompanio. Breaching our conduct policy means a permanent ban.
Companionship only — additional expenses are not included.
Kompanio provides companionship only. Venue, activity, food, coffee, movie tickets, gaming, bowling, event, travel and other additional expenses are separate from the companionship fee and are not borne by Kompanio. Where an activity requires payment for the companion's participation, the customer is responsible for the agreed expense.
1. What Kompanio is
Kompanio is a marketplace for Kompanio Verified Companions and platonic, activity-based companionship in India. Customers book a companion for a specific activity, at a public or partner venue, for a set number of hours at a transparent hourly price. Kompanio is not a dating app, matchmaking service, escort service or therapy platform.
2. Eligibility and verification
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Customers complete identity verification before booking. Companions submit government ID and selfie verification for Kompanio team review before companion access is approved. Kompanio may decline, suspend or remove any account.
3. Bookings and payments
All bookings and payments happen inside Kompanio. The amount you see at checkout is the companion fee for the booked hours plus the Kompanio platform fee. Payments are processed by our payment partner; Kompanio never stores your card details. Negotiating or paying outside the app is a breach of these terms.
4. Companionship service and additional expenses
Kompanio provides companionship only. Venue, activity, food, coffee, movie tickets, gaming, bowling, event, travel and other additional expenses are separate from the companionship fee and are not borne by Kompanio. Where an activity requires payment for the companion's participation, the customer is responsible for the agreed expense.
5. Conduct
Kompanio is strictly platonic. Romantic, sexual or adult conduct, harassment, abuse, discrimination, intoxication that endangers others, and requests to move off-platform are prohibited. Breaching the conduct policy can lead to a permanent ban and, where appropriate, referral to the authorities.
6. Cancellations, no-shows and disputes
Companions may accept or decline a request; unanswered requests expire. If a booking is declined, expires or is cancelled before it starts, the amount collected is returned to the original payment method. Report problems from the booking screen so our team can review the check-in and check-out record and the in-app chat.
7. Reviews
Only customers who completed a booking may review it. Reviews must be honest and must not contain personal contact details or abusive language.
8. Liability
Meetings happen at public or partner venues with check-in and check-out. Public venues are designed to reduce risk but do not guarantee safety. Kompanio is not a party to the interaction between customer and companion and is not liable for the conduct of either party, or for loss or expense arising from a meeting. Always share your plan with an emergency contact and use the in-app SOS if something feels wrong.
